August 2011 NADOI congratulates member Vivian Bregman (and her dog Sugah) for qualifying for the AKC invitational in Florida. Vivian is a highly respected obedience competitor and instructor. Sugah is her second dog to earn at OTCh from AKC, UKC and ASCA. Best wishes to Vivian and Sugah!

May 2011 Colorado Correctional Industries, Prison Trained K9 Companion Program, started in October of 2002 by Nadoi Member Debi Stevens # 727 is celebrating the Rescue and Placement of over 2000 Dogs. Congratulations, Debi!

January 2011 NADOI loses another unforgettable member and friend. Dick Russell of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away January 6, 2011 after a 6 year battle with cancer. The popular dog trainer was featured in an article in Baton Rouge’s 225 Magazine just days before his passing.

December 2010 NADOI has lost a long-time member and friend. On 23 Dec. 2010, Roy Hunter passed away. He shared his joy and vast knowledge of dog training in both his native Great Britain and here in the United States. His legacy will live on in the people he touched and their dogs.

October 2010 Congratulations to Heddie Leger for her work in helping develop the Missouri Department of Corrections “Puppies for Parole” Program in collaboration with St. Joseph Animal Shelter and Western Reception Diagnostic and Correctional Center. The program has been selected to receive the Governors Award for Quality and Productivity.
