Membership in NADOI gives an instructor opportunities
to exchange ideas about class training programs, teaching techniques,
problem dogs, apprentice programs, and indeed, every facet of dog
obedience training, with other instructors from many countries.
Certification by NADOI is a vote of confidence to the instructor.
It tells him or her that his experience and abilities have met the
minimum standard set by the Association, and his abilities and approaches
to training are within the guiding principles of the Code of Ethics.
NADOI is committed to expanding knowledge about dog obedience training
among its own members and the general public. Its various committees
and NADOI NOTES, as well as NADOI’s award-winning quarterly journal
for instructors, FORWARD, provide a forum for contributing to the
general improvement of dog obedience training.
